It fits fine into my soft electric cello case, which is why I bought it. I don't want to put my cello bow into the case without a reinforcement. However, while this is the least expensive cardboard bow box I could find, the prices on these things are a bit much. It's just cardboard, albeit a good stiff and sturdy cardboard.

Item arrived bent as it's made from cardboard so basically it's just a long box. Not study at all. Got bent in shipping. If you're looking for something to protect your bow I do not recommend this box. Get a real case.

Very nice bow case that comes with a good silk bow bag. The case is sturdy and does what it is supposed to do.
