Our Race Line fans were designed for heavy-duty applications where a Slim Line fan just won't cut it. However, this robust fan is still thin enough to fit between your engine and radiator in most applications and provides 2200 CFM of airflow to cool the largest and most powerful of engines! Depending on your application, this fan can also be reversed and used in front of your radiator. For universal installation, use the Mishimoto Electric Fan Mounting Kit.

Great fan that I used on my truck to supplement cooling for my air conditioner in the desert

Description of item is inaccurate. Depth of product is incorrect due to mounting stud for fan which protrudes past the mounting surface. This ends up digging into the radiator, so don't purchase this, otherwise you'll be returning it like we had to!

I put this on my 1962 Lincoln Continental with the relay kit. It moves a TON of air, and keeps if super cool! Pretty quiet too! I barely hear it inside the car with the windows down sitting there and I don't even have insulation under my hood. It is an amazing radiator and did an amazing job all summer long!

The fan works as expected. Definitely blows harder than their regular 12 inch slim fans. The only compliant I have is the mounting kit. The slide on clips for the zip ties just doesn’t want to hold. Had to email Mishimoto for another mounting kit. And even with that new kit it’s still flawed.

After running several different low profile fans that couldn’t keep my engine temp down, I decided to give these a try. Now the fans actually cycle on and off like they’re supposed to. I also now realize a lot of fans’ advertised CFM is BS! These are the real deal.

I replaced my mechanical cooling fan about 8 months ago. I thought it would free up horsepower and reduce parasitic losses. It did, but the fan was not enough to keep my truck cool. It was also very loud. It sounded like the siren from the original Ectomobile from the 1984 Ghostbusters movie. The slowly creeping temperatures and obnoxious noise were tolerable in the winter.. but as temperatures warmed up and the weather got nicer, I needed a replacement. I was a little hesitant to order another, but this fan plugged right in to my other connections, and the coolant temperatures actually drop when the motor is running. This mishimoto is a great replacement fan. It is quiet and it flows more air than my previous parts-store-special fan. It does everything that I need it to do, and it does it well. I am not concerned about my vehicle's cooling anymore. The truck in question is a 1992 GMC Sierra C1500. It has a 350cid v8 engine.

This fan is no slouch, it’s 1850cfm keeps my car cool and the space it takes up isn’t too bad I modified the Mishimoto dual fan shroud to fit the race fan and I does add another 1/2 inch or more but will clear a 20g turbo and possibly be snug with a fp red or black. I like it, it works and feels well made

So I have 2002 Lexus IS 300 (Manual). To put things in perspective I installed: a Mishimoto radiator with a 1.3 bar cap Power House Racing Thermostat that opens up around 158F along with an aftermarket shroud with two slim fans. (later replaced with one Mishimoto Fan)The stock 2jz-ge with its iron block operates at a range between 180F - 200F. (This will be important as a reference)I tested the two unbranded slim fans that came with the shroud when it was 100F ambient and full sun beaming and got a reading of 225F going an average of 70 MPH on the a long stretch of highway that included stop and go traffic. (A/C at max)I did the same test using one Mishimoto MMFAN-12HD (Disclaimer: its a thick boy). Just one fan had the ability to bring my coolant temp below 180F sitting at a still 170F (A/C at max). This fan is simply amazing I literally had to drive the car like a madman on a hot summer day just to get it to barely touch the minimum operating temp of 180F.Overall, I think this fan done its job way too well. I used my IS300 as a reference for others to see if they can benefit from adding this fan. if you replicate the list of upgrades that I have or have similar parts I can’t fathom this fan or setup not working out for you especially if you track your car or drive it spiritedly on the back roads.

This fan fitted nicely on a Nissan Figaro, inside the original shroud, making a welcome replacement for the 30 year-old original fan, and a tremendous upgrade in terms of cooling power. This fan is the most efficient on the market, and of excellent value. Highly recommended.
