I love this mirror. The only bad thing is that it doesn’t have an app to replay the video.

The product cuts on and off during driving or recording.. every thing installed correctly plus the camera cable was not long enough to reach the back of my truck so I had to place in rear window. To lazy to send back so just don’t use camera

Dash cam should have a basic cycle recording mode but this is have an option but don’t really work.Keep saying memory full and u have to format it through accessing the menu again time after time. That’s why I haven’t a 1/2 star.Don’t buy it.

Wanting a dash cam with front and rear cameras, plus a touch screen that is hidden from the police this camera attaches to your rear view mirror and makes viewing as clear as normal mirror. Also has a parking motion sensor to have a continuous loop recording and a port for a mini SD card. I liked this camera I actually had to get my family members one so three of us have the same unit installed in our vehicle.

UPDATED:ITEM: AMprime Mirror Dash Cam 5" Rear View Mirror 1080P Front and Rear ViewCOMMENTS: I’ve had this camera for a few weeks now and still tinkering with it, so will have a more thorough review coming when I’ve figured it all out. Figured I should at least get my initial impressions down. UPDATE: Has since been updated with my probably final views.PROS:- The camera quality is quite nice for at least the front view (still need to install the rear). UPDATE: It is not that great. I still haven’t installed the rear, but after reviewing the videos routinely it doesn’t give as much detail as I would want/expect - i.e. you’ll never be able to read license plates.- It handles headlights quite well without overpowering the video. UPDATE: Not entirely true. It varies wildly depending on where you are, conditions, etc. Overall, it’s not bad at the price point though.NEUTRALS:- The strap mounting over the existing mirror makes it slightly bulky and it doesn’t fully cover my existing mirror, which irritates me.- UPDATE: While I tend not to have trouble using the rear view while the screen is active, my partner has trouble with it and it can be more/less difficult depending on the conditions.- UPDATE: The camera view is narrow, but not enough for me to put it in the cons. It covers nearly all of the front end, but would be more comfortable with it being wider.CONS:- Mine did not come with a user manual and it’s been a slight struggle to figure some things out - such as getting my screen to flip. All the settings/menus show upside down and haven’t been able to right it (and no, it’s not mounted upside down). UPDATE: This has been resolved by mounting it upside down. It exposes more of my original mirror, but is working just fine.- It does not come with a memory card (I didn’t count this against in the rating since it’s not noted).- Some features only work with additional accessories, such as the bump protection monitoring and parking surveillance (noted in the listing, but still a drawback since it’s advertised). UPDATE: I can’t believe this is even advertised with it. I wouldn’t trust to add any of these features.- UPDATE: The screen occasionally (1/10 drives, especially if it hits about 20-30 degrees out) will glitch out by turning black and white with no image, static, and lines. It usually is resolved by restarting through unplugging.- UPDATE:PACKAGING/GIFTABILITY: It came in a branded box. The accessories were loose in the box, but the mirror itself was in fitted packaging. It came in shipping packaging. Due to this, I think gift-wrapping is optional.WOULD I PURCHASE?: Maybe. I’m not 100% sold on it yet, but it’s an affordable introduction to a dash cam. UPDATE: No, I’d opt for a higher end model.CONCLUSION: I’m still working out how I actually really feel about this camera. Not a huge fan of the mounting system, and probably would prefer getting a dedicated screen option. I can’t recommend it just yet because I haven’t been able to get a lot of the features figured out quite yet (mine was missing a manual) but will be updating with more thorough information. UPDATE: I wouldn’t necessarily go for this one unless you want just a general video record. It isn’t clear enough to make out license plates, has some headlight glare issues, iffy interface, and seems to tout more features than it has out of box and I would trust it with. To be fair, it’s what you would expect at this price point and a decent call if you’re looking for just a general record.
