I bought this to hold some small parts I needed to hold while I solder wires to them. Since the jaw faces are not square the small parts actually pop out of the vice when I tighten them enough to do my work.

I bought this for plastic modeling. I haven’t found a time where I needed it for that hobby, but I can see potential use for fine metal work or something of that nature. The interchangeable/reversable jaws are very nice with different recesses for shapes. The anchor points for screws to stabilize the vice is also nice. Overall, if you have a use for it, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. Minus 1 star for the quality, but nothing out of the ordinary. It’s like Harbor Freight quality (not always a bad thing! I love HF!).

Another example of a product where the price shows. The clamp has some design flaws where the screw joins with the movable jaw – there is a lot of wiggle room, so this will not hold smaller items without the clamp flexing inwards. The screws also do not screw all the way in on the movable jaw, so the rubber that holds your work is not fixed and wobbles.Overall serviceable if you're not doing anything majorly delicate.
