My husband wanted a vise. First I had to discover what exactly he wanted. He explained the concept and said he would look at Home Depot or Lowe's next weekend. And put his task on hold. He never gets around to finishing thing so I checked Amazon for him one. This was on Monday and by Friday it was here and his face lit up when he seen it. He said he did not need so big of one I joke I could send it back. He grabbed it saying no way. I finished the one project and over the weekend did two more. I think I like this more then him, he can get things done.

Mounted this on my workbench for small jobs. It is much stronger than my previous one that had a swivel. Comes with rubber slip on for the jaws to protect your work. Easy to install.

Clamps anywhere and holds firm very happy with it! Its nice that it came with extra hardware for either a bench mount or a clamp mount. The clamp is the best part.

Lever comes loose so u have to bang it down with something so it doesn't turn but other than that it works good

I bought my first vise last August and found the quality to be excellent. As a result I bought a second a couple of weeks ago. I was disappointed when I opened this second one to see that it was ‘obviously’ used.I admit I had failed to note ‘used but new condition’ when I purchased it. This is a great tool if you don’t have a budget to buy a higher-end one and a great fit for a handy man who loves doing household small projects. Because of it’s compact size, you don’t need a bigger space for you work bench. It has 2.5” jaw opening and a textured jaw plates that provide a good grip. It’s swivel vise base can be rotated 360 degrees for easy adjustment. It’s a great choice if you want a compact with a clamping power and convenient tool for you home projects.
