Super smooth and easy to clean with acetone when you're done. Been using the mixing boards for both fiber reinforced filler and finish fairing filler. The mixing paddles are nice but I'm mostly just using the middle size right now.

Good boards but I do not recommend them for any kind of body filler or automotive work. I bought them to use in my body shop. The body filler actually burned into the surface of the plastic itself once it started to catalyze and harden. So I had to throw that board away because I could not clean it off. I did find other uses for it though as far as applying one part acrylic spot putty or metal glaze. They are just not very solvent resistant. But I'm sure they have lots of different uses in other fields or hobbies.

Don't buy, they are good for an initial coat of body filler but overall are not good for any "quality" finish. I have years of automotive body repair and these are the pits for any good quality work. I went back to my old "bondo" brand paddles because these left lines in what was spread. If you like redoing your work several times - waste your money on this garbage.

Literally broke the first one while putting filler on it for real it cracked right in half So I transferred the filler to the second board and used it very carefully after I finished I went back to my old board.

Love this set boards are durable yet lightweight. Even had a protective film on them to protect them from scratches ect . Thumb hole makes holding on to board easy and spreading filler sooo much easier. Worth twice the price don’t tell anyone
