These scrapers are very easy to clean up and work for a variety of applications. The steel build of these spreaders mean that they should last off a very long time as long as they are properly maintained - remember that steel can rust, and the coating on the blades will eventually wear off. As long as they are cleaned up and dried post use they should last a lifetime. I have personally used the plastic ones before and while they aren't bad the plastic loses it's edge and can cause depressions in filling - not so much with these spring steel blades. I haven't used them yet on auto body work, but they work very well for filling in drywall / plaster repairs and filling wood - just be mindful of the metal that it doesbt scratch finished surfaces when applying. These should be able to replace most if not all of your disposable scrapers.

These are good tools for the Bondo application. My only complaint is that the sticker that was placed on the metal has left some sticky gunk that is hard to get off. Other than that, I love them.

It is very easy to use and very flexible. Many uses for these filling knives. Good for spackling drywall and wood filler. I would recommend this paint and body shops.
