Great scissors. These full metal handles are great. They feel good in either hand and work equally well either way. These scissors are exactly as advertised and they work exceptionally well.

The Milwaukee scissors are very well constructed and easily cut through tough substances. It's one of the few pairs that are big enough to allow the use of gloves when cutting. Ordinary scissors may be okay for some materials but this pair will cut through any substance that you would use scissors on.

You wouldn't think that a pair of scissors could be so interesting, but Milwaukee has come good with these. They have some really good hand tools now and these are excellent. They feel very good in the hand, seem to be good quality and importantly arrive sharp and keep their edge. Very impressed. Cut wallpaper and fabric very well, in fact think they are some of the best scissors I have used. Thoroughly recommend them.

I used to be a contractor by trade, since moved on to other opportunities, but im still a carpenter and know Milwaukee tools (electric, battery and hand) so in searching for a kinda heavy duty pair for my kitchen, these showed up. So for me i didn't knew to look no further, clicked buy now and that was that. i had no idea i was gonna get what i got. Do not expect your normal pair of Scissors when you pick them up. Heavy Duty is what they are, they fit my hand perfectly, between med, and large hands for a man, they also no gap between the blades so expect friction, which will loosen ever so slightly with use, which i have to say if any of you have cut xmas wrapping paper, you find that sharp spot and just push, these will be PERFECT for this. Do not be afraid to drop them, throw them in a drawer you will not hurt them. For this price get 3 or 4 and put a pair in the kitchen, a set in the garage, a tool box or in your truck if you work in the trades. Quite possible the perfect pair of Scissors. Nice job Milwaukee.

You just have to take a better look to appreciate the practical advantages. A ruler on the lower blade edge to cut a definite amount. Those metal tabs in the handles for pressing on the bench when cutting thick materials. Bad boys like me have been known to tap with a hammer. They work with gloves if you can get used to having 3 fingers in the lower handle and your pointer finger out. Nice and snug at the pivot. Best scissors on the bench for me.

They look a little "funny" -- plastic-y -- compared to the other tools in my too chest but they cut like heck and seem very sturdy and heavily built. My parents had scissors that lasted basically their entire lives- those days are probably gone with the advent of the flat stainless steel-plate blades/ plastic handle design like this. There's no reason these couldn't be engineered to last a while and be made with metallurgy that will respond decently to being sharpened. We'll see in a year or so.

These scissors are great and worth the money. No more frustration trying to cut things that regular scissors should but don’t. These are a little on the large size so don’t get them for small tedious projects. These scissors are meant for most regular jobs and especially for thick and hard to cut rubber, plastic, wire, etc.

These scissors are very heavy duty and are perfect for heavier work as well as light paper cutting. They operate smoothly with just the right tension between the two blades and are very sharp. I would have to call these the best scissors I have ever owned with the obvious caveat that they are not perfect for everything that scissors can be used for. Don't work on your fingernails with these. You won't snap off the handles under heavy cutting pressure as the metal of the blades extends all the way around both finger loops. The red plastic and black rubber handles provide a cushioned and comfortable grip for even the most rigorous cutting activities. I have used them for rubber, plastic blister packaging, leather, cardboard, cloth and even thin sheet metal and they have performed flawlessly and stayed sharp. This is my second pair that I got because I like them so much I wanted to share them with another craftsman. These would be great for workshop or kitchen. If you want a pair of scissors that won't twist and fail to cut with heavier materials then these should please you very much. After I ordered these from Amazon at a price of $33.97 I found them at my local Home Depot for $14.97. I expressed my dismay and they kindly offered to refund me the difference! Way to go Amazon! I'm a happy camper.
