I cannot overstate how much I love this laser measuring tool, it has so many more features than other ones I have used in the past! The variety of measurement methods and adjustability are incredible, this is an incredibly well thought-out tool!At first glance I thought the dual measuring lasers with a single perpendicular marking laser were not terribly useful, but I was very VERY wrong. This feature alone makes this tool worth buying!When you are measuring rooms or areas like garages which have a lot of stuff in them, it can be difficult to get your measurement tool against the wall due to furniture or things in the way. With the dual measurements you can just stand in the middle of a room and take the measurement without climbing over furniture! Also you can then just turn and take the other measurement instead of having to walk across the room to place your tool against the other wall. These are small conveniences, but they make a huge difference and will save you a ton of time if you have to take a lot of measurements.Of course you can just use the laser as a single-ended measurment tool just like any of the zillions of others out there on the market. If you press the left or right arrows, it will change over to measuring with the laser on that end of the tool. If you then press the up arrow, it will cycle between which end of the tool it is using as its reference. In single-ended mode you can choose your reference to be the laser end, the opposite end, or centerline with center laser activated.The center laser is fantastic, it puts out a line against whatever surface you have it on. You can then line this up with some refererence on a wall (a light fixture, switch, etc.) to find the distance to the wall on either side from that laser mark. I used this to hang a picture and get it perfectly centered in a room by placing the tool against the wall and then measuring the distance to either side. I then moved it slightly over until the measurements were equal either direction and then placed my hanger at the center laser mark on the wall! Super easy, way faster than I have ever been able to do this in the past!I haven't used all of the other features, but the square area calculation is very nice. I can pop a quick measurement to find the area of a floor or wall for estimating things like flooring or paint without having to use a calculator to multiply. I can just keep a running sum on my calculator and add each additional wall area.The last feature that I love is that this has a combination digital angle gauge and bubble level. The bubble level is visible in most any mode, it is just a divided line at the bottom with a segment below that moves back and forth as you tilt the tool. When the segment below lines up between the divider marks on the line above you are level. If you go into single-ended measurement mode it will display the actual angle number with 0.1 degree increments. The angle is negative if you point the laser down, and positive if you point it up...and this switches depending on which end you select to measure from. If you are measuring with the left side laser then rotating clockwise will show a positive number since the laser is pointing upward, whereas if you are measuring with the right side laser then a clockwise rotation will show a negative angle since the measuring laser is pointing downward.I am definitely happy to have this in my toolbox, and I am sure it will get a ton of use in the years to come!

Cet appareil est vraiment top !D'abord, il vient avec une housse silicone de protection ainsi qu'une sacoche de rangement.Son gros gros avantage pour moi, c'est qu'il a un double laser. On peut donc se placer au milieu du mur et chacun des laser va permettre de prendre la mesure de chaque côté. D'autre part, il a un troisième laser qui permet de centrer facilement et parfaitement une distance. Idéal pour placer des plafonniers au centre d'une pièce par exemple.On a plusieurs modes de calcul rapides : distance, aire, volume, triangle etc.... On a donc pas besoin de son crayon et des sa feuille de papier pour faire les calculs à la main.Pour finir, il embarque un inclinomètre qui permet de s'en servir de niveau à bulle.Petite déception néanmoins pour ma part, le titre mentionne le DP20 PRO ce qui laisse entendre qu'il est compatible avec l'application mobile (et j'imaginais pouvoir faire des sauvegardes des mesures dessus). Mais le produit reçu est le DP20 (pas PRO) donc.... pas de connectivité Bluetooth... Dommage.A part cette déception, cela reste tout de même un très bon appareil qui rend service 👍

I ordered this device to aid in raising the floor in an old farmhouse we are reconstructing in rural central KY. There has been a failure in the pier and beam foundation and this device is just the right tool to aid in measurements and leveling of this floor that has sagged several inches in places. The tool is constructed of high quality materials and is well assembled. It carries well in my measurement tool back back and sets up fairly simply. The laser is strong and penetrates the dust heavy humid air of this project with ease and the power output is reliable and stable. The unit is very versatile and actually has capacities that far exceed my use case on this one room foundation repair. The unit was a pleasure to operate and now that I have familiar with it, i look forward for many years and many more projects.

This thing is great!! We are redoing our flooring in the house and this tool made measuring the square footage of what we needed to re do a breeze. Saved us loads of time. Highly recommend!

To be honest if it were not for the Amazon Vine program I would never entertain the thought of trying one of these gadgets out.I do a lot of diy and this does involve a lot of measuring and in many cases the distances are quite long and I would normally do this with a metal tape measure which has to be broken down into two measurements due to the limitations of the tape measure that I have.This gadget makes measuring a lot easier especially with those that cover a long distance. It uses a laser system and there are three on the unit, one firing out of each end and one firing vertical from the middle top. This allows you many combinations of taking a measurement depending on the scenario.For long distances there is a digital level to ensure that the unit is correctly level for an accurate measurement. I am in the process of designing decking that I will be installing when the weather gets better and this made measuring the garden area such a breeze. I just needed to make sure that there were blocks of wood at the end points so that the red laser could hit.There are plenty of settings to allow you to customise the unit for your needs and a downloadable app to use in conjunction with this to capture measurements for any project that you are working on.As I said, I would not even look at getting one of these due to the cost but having experienced using one I do think it is worth getting if you are a professional or in the process of renovating a whole house. I did find it such an easy thing to use and accurate.
