Overall good if you want a soft floor, but go with firmer foam or rubber-only if you want a firm floor like a professional gym.The materials seem solid. The top is textured and provides grip, and is firm and seems durable. The bottom is foam which in my opinion is too soft. It noticeably compresses under body weight and with heavy weights it feels like I'm sinking into it. Because of this I also feel the puzzle piece seams between two tiles if I stand on it, and the edges don't stay flat when I step on them, although they don't actually come apart. It's not ideal but it's a little annoying.There are 2 different edge puzzle patterns that interlock, so they have to be put together in a specific way, but it still provides ample versatility to cover your space. Each tile comes with two of the edges covered with a straight edge. These can be removed to reveal the puzzle-piece edge, but provides ample straight edge pieces to give the final layout a finished look.

It was a bit tricky to figure out the proper way to piece them all together, but most especially to put the edges back on. It's not necessary, but I wanted to have and use the edges so that my fitness / detox room that I have them in has a flat and straight edge to them, not jetted in and out puzzle pieces. They fit together perfectly, lay flat perfectly. They pick up whatever is on them a bit too easily, easier than squares I've used outside of my home in a facility. For example, if I kneel on them, or rest my arm on them, for some reason you can see exactly where I was after I get up. That being said, they are easy to clean. It makes working out on my porcelain tile much more comfortable than without. They seem to be pretty durable, but only the test of time, use, and wear and hopefully not tear will be the true test.

I am in the process of moving, and I am leaving behind a home gym that I built with solid rubber tile floors. Love them for a gym! But in my new place, I am going to create a temporary workout spot in the garage and these tiles are my solution. The thing that I love is that the top is still the nice durable rubber surface that I am used to, but the underlying EVA foam gives just a bit more comfort when jumping or putting a weight down - it's just the right thickness to balance comfort and durability. Assembly is easy - they fit together very well, and the edge pieces make it feel nice and finished. I may eventually get more to expand my workout area, but for now things are working. I also didn't notice an odor in my tiles, which is a concern with rubber tiles. I would definitely recommend these!

These floor mats are now turning my home gym into a real professional-looking gym space! The mats go over either hard floors or low-pile carpet and provide a smooth, firm, stable surface for exercise equipment, weights, or even a yoga mat to stretch on. They also protect the floors from any damage from the equipment legs or from anything that might drop on them. They have a non-slip texture on the top, so I don’t slip while exercising, and they are easy to simply wipe off to clean.The material is high-density rubber on the top, which has a firm surface, and EVA foam underneath, which provides some nice cushioning. The mats fit together easily and perfectly with the precisely cut puzzle-piece edges. Straight pieces are also provided for the outer edges of the mats where they go up against a wall, for example. The large 24” by 24” size tiles cover a large area and can be configured in many different ways to fit the space. These mats are fabulous quality and will likely last a very long time! Awesome product!
