This one is one of my favorite mats that I got for my home gym. I have several, and they're all slightly different - but most of them are kind of "sectioned" - there are squares on them. This one is one solid piece of Slip Resistant, Moisture Resistant, Shock Absorbing, Abrasion Resistant, Stain Resistant protection for your floors, and shock absorption for your feet. It's apparently made of high-density PVC foam material. This is a pretty commonly-used type of material in products lately, and I like the way this one feels. It's smooth, but also just sliiightly textured for better traction. Nice. It DOES have the brand named kind of - well, BRANDED - onto it. That's how it looks. So it does affect the level of it (the look), but to be honest I like the way it looks. It's kind of cool (in my opinion). The edges of this are sealed (it looks like sort of binding (in other words, you can see it as clearly differentiated from the main part of the mat). They're well-done in my opinion - I don't foresee any issues with any kind of fraying or sloughing off of the material of the mat on this.I expected the back to be somewhat fabric-y, but it's not. It's just a different texture of the same material. It does come rolled up so it may take a minute to properly "Unroll" (set flat). It will eventually, don't worry. There will also be a slight chemical smell the first time you take it out of the box. That will eventually dissipate. This can be stored rolled-up if that is what you want to do. Mine stays permanently under a gym machine. LOVE it for this! Super happy with this one, and would absolutely get it again. Highly recommend.

This is a nice quality mat with solid construction, very uniform across the mat. It deflects very easily, so setting anything of any weight on it will press it in. It will pop back out fairly quickly. I put this under our gym cable machine. It does protect the floor, but unfortunately it allows the cable machine (not wall mount) to slide when used heavily. It also causes issues when using a weight bench. I like to pick up one end of the weight bench and slide the other end across the floor to move it into position. This mat has a non-skid top, so the bench won't slide easily on it, but the side against the floor does slide when I drag the bench. That means that this mat rolls up under the bench as I slide it.This is a good mat if you won't be dragging things across it and won't be using it under something that vibrates or moves a lot, like our home gym.

I got this so I could have more space for jump roping outdoors. I use a PVC jump rope. Using it against bare concrete would chew it up, so I tried using a yoga mat. The yoga mat worked, but it was too small, fragile, and squishy for plyometrics. This mat is PERFECT.Note, it is not an outdoor mat, so I wouldn’t leave it outside in the rain or the sun, but it is great for jump roping outdoors it has ample space, it’s durable and sweat proof, and it isn’t squishy. Squishy mats are comfy but they absorb too much impact and making it hard to spring back up for jump roping. This is definitely worth it for an indoor gym, outdoor cardio, or as a mat underneath exercise equipment. I have only used it a few times so I will update with any new developments as time goes on.

This mat is very thin. I was very excited for this as I was intending to use it in an uneven area and set an office chair over it. Just sitting on the office chair on the mat and rolling around left marks immediately - I can't imagine what equipment would do to this mat.
