Cleaned my chimney from the bottom up in less than 15 minutes with minimal mess. Did a better job than climbing a 20' ladder outside to clean from the top down, and is much safer for a 75 y.o. like me.

Be sure to use some anti-seize on the threads before assembling.This is a great set for keeping your chimney clean. I bought it for that purpose and it works great. I simply disconnect the chimney pipe from my wood burning stove and place the end in a bucket, then get on the roof and disconnect the chimney at the first joint, then scrub it out by hand. I don't use it with a drill because it works fine just using it by hand. The inside of your chimney doesn't need to be power polished. Just knock the accumulation down in the springtime.

We have a 6inch flu chimney for wood stove in our basement. This worked perfectly to reach the entire length of the flu. For reference we have 8 ft ceilings.

I was dumb and bought a cheap set of another brand in the photo. Compare the two in the photo and you will see the difference. This brush is extremely stiff and rods are high quality. The cheap set brush couldn't ruffle a cat's fur. Plus it came smashed in a box half the brush size so the brush was flattened. This American made product is great! Would definitely recommend the higher quality and don't waste your money like I did buying cheap the first time around.
