Out of 5 valves one did not work right away, what does that mean? it never shut off and was loud like a freight train. Only one valve worked as expected, shutting off and on periodically, and making modest noise when open. Another valve was good at the beginning but within a few days began being loud, and staying open longer, the rest worked as far as opening and closing but when open it was actually hard to be in the same room as them. These are welded shut so no adjustment or repair was possible, I returned them for a refund.

They don’t seal at all. Not midline, Chinese knockoff crap. Total ripoff.

Please do not buy. It's no good all 5 not even 1 worked. You can't sleep with thr noise from these. Spitting water all over. Stay away take my advise. I should have follow the reviews.

I bought a set of 5 of these vents and none of them works as supposed to. They are not even as good as the old vents I was intending to replace. These vents don't close up and stop releasing air/steam from the radiator once they heat up. I've seen them do it only a few times after nearly an hour hissing, and by then the heating cycle is almost over. These were so bad that they started damaging the paint on my walls from all of the steam released, and increased the frequency of my boiler's water re-filling. Came back to start the process of returning them, only to find out that the return window closed to days ago...

On my steam heat system, these air vent valves did not work. Some of them didn't release cold air, so the radiators didn't heat up. Others just stayed open and spewed steam (noisily) through the whole steam cycle. I tried each of them on different radiators, with the same results. I've never had this problem with other, similar air vents.
