This the best you can expect for a Window Air conditioner, does really cool your room very fast and good, very nice, very quiet, and easy to install

Finally a quiet Airconditioner, it is the most quiet unit I have found. It was pretty easy for my husband to install. We had a different window type but just made adaption to make it work. I have just purchased this summer I have never heard of this company before I am hopeful it will last for a good number of summers before it doesn’t. So far we are very pleased this is the second unit we also ended up buying another for our bedroom it’s working great also.

We had a ''traiditionnal'' 12000BTU unit, and this one is way better with less BTUs. It's really quiet, mostly on low fan speed. The design allows you to close the window almost completely, which is perfect if you're in an urban area. It's a major upgrade compared to our last AC.It is also WiFi compatible. I've connected it to my Google Home account, and it was fun and useful when we were on a vacation : it took less than a minute to activate and it was getting colder a few hours before we arrived home.Only cons, it was a bit complicated to install it. Our appartment is ''a bit old'' (built more than a century ago), so it fit in only one window and it wasn't as easy as a traditionnal AC unit... BUT, once installed, I wouldn't go back!

We have owned many A/C's over the years and this is the best ever! It is easy to install and takes up very little window space. It cools the best, is most quiet and if we ever need another, this will be the one we buy!

I like this AC very much. It is very efficient, quiet, and has plenty of capacity to cool my 550 sq. ft apartment. I highly recommend it!

I just received my 10,000 BTU unit. Great review in Wirecutter made me buy it…Looks great… not hard to install, but it IS heavy. VERY quiet and works well so far… The quality throughout appears very fine, from the youtube videos I watched. The app is just great, and for once, the lighting of the unit and of the remote are really muted and will not light up your bedroom at night…Overall: Quite impressive unit and app.I have a question: the compressor is on the outside, and there is a large grille on the top of the unit, so that the outside fan is exposed to the elements… If it rains, the water gets inside… No drain at the botton…One user described this as an issue. Should any sort of cover be attached to the top in order to prevent water infiltration? Or is this not an issue at all? Thx.

This is a great window air conditioner, and I wouldn't hesitate to suggest buying it. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could because it has some minor flaws that could be easily fixed, but overall it does exactly what it says, provides a lot of cool air at a very reasonable noise level, and has a very decent remote control and smartphone app.First of all, it is not quite as easy to install as they say. The instructions aren't very good, and it is very tricky to align the slots on the unit with the slides on the mount. And it doesn't inspire confidence as you gently push the very heavy unit out the window. But once on, the mount works fine. It does stick out much further than necessary, which is somewhat unsightly and might be a problem if you have a fire escape outside the window. The unit works as described. You can barely hear the compressor, so the only noise is the fan, which, well, sounds like a fan. If you have it on full, it is pretty noisy. But you can run it down to 30% or so and it is almost silent, so if you want a smaller amount of air for sleeping, it is fantastic. The one *huge* annoyance (are you listening, Midea?) is that the slightest change to the settings results in a very loud acknowledgement BEEP. You can't make the slightest change without waking up anyone else in the room, or even nearby. Many people have complained about the BEEP, and it would be extremely easy to reduce the sound or put a control on the remote or smartphone app to reduce it or eliminate it. The company routinely updates the firmware (easy) and it would be very, very simple to add this function. If you think a very loud BEEP would be annoying, don't buy this unit until they fix this problem. The second odd issue is that even set on low, the fan speed varies up and down for no obvious reason. Perhaps it is reacting to the compressor coming on and off, but having set it to a low quiet setting, it is odd that it occasionally comes up significantly higher and then drops down again a few minutes later. And yes, this is with the ECO setting turned off. ECO is a useful setting for energy efficiency, it turns up the fan and reduces the compressor speed to save energy. But even with ECO off, the fan speed changes unpredictably. However, even with these annoyances, the unit is still the best window AC I've ever owned. If it were not for the very annoying BEEP, it would be just about perfect. Midea, please don't respond that you will consider it for a future release, just do it now and zap us the firmware. Couldn't take more than a day or two of programmer time. Thanks again for an innovative design!
