I thought it would be quieter. It’s not NOISY, but don’t believe the advertizing. The remote has to be line-of-site and doesn’t work as a thermostat. The app is okay, but even with a phone that can tell the temp, still won’t work as a thermostat.

Powerful AC. The app on my iPhone controls it perfectly. So far this is the best AC I’ve ever had.

Cooling is awesome. If you can get it to turn on. Remote is useless unless you stand 1 foot in front of unit. WiFi does not work. Impossible to connect.Overall this is a disappointment considering Freidrich reputation.

I have Friedrich air conditioners in all my rooms. this is the first "smart" AC and I am surprised that there is a bug in their software. whenever I put the AC on manually and then want to turn off the display (LEDs) I have to use the remote and each time i hit the "Display" button it turns the Fan up to the High setting. Strange but true, stranger yet is the fact that I sent an email to Friedrich a month ago and have not received any response. I'm sure that this software glich can be addressed, but without any communication from Freidrich I think it will be after the summer.

This ac is great and is fully capable of cooling my house quickly and efficiently. The remote and the app work perfect and easy to use.My only complaint is the noise level. I wish there was a few more modes on the fan. The low is still very powerful and loud.It's not a deal breaker but it is loud enough that I did have to change my original placement.
