Instant hit with our fur babies. Large enough for two adult cats to share. Definitely rip resistant, as my cats have pounced and bunny kicked this mat numerous times. May is not overly cold feeling and easy to clean.

I live in an apartment and I have an indoor black cat. Sometimes I worry that she was getting too warm inside. I have bought other mats before and they did not work. She had no interest, but this one I would see her laying on it all the time.

I thought it was gonna be a "get it wet" , & throw in the freezer for a couple hours, but it wasn't. Was not worth the price I paid.

Our power was going to be shut off for a pole replacement on a day that was going to be 105 so I was very worried my little dog would overheat in the house. This is great because it doesn't use ice or anything so I didn't need to worry about my floors. It's a very thin, lightweight material. I havent washed it yet but like that it's washable because my dog has severe anxiety and marks absolutely everything so I knew he would be marking this as he does his bed. It stays cool but not so cold that it would be a problem for him to be on it all the time. It did the job the day I needed it and now on hot days I find him sprawled on his back laying on it. It feels similar to a silky pillowcase and I got the smallest one as my dog is under 5lbs and it's a perfect size for him.

Definitely feels cool to the touch but it's very thin. My mistake was ordering the smallest size for our dogs. Even though they are Poms, I should've sized up. We only ordered one to start to see if either dog would even use it - so far both have laid their heads on it a couple times. However, they seem to like to scratch at it more (and it snags easy). Would probably order a size up and see if it works any better. The small size does fit perfectly in their crates.

The product came quickly, which was nice. I originally was drawn to the larger size (XXL) of this specific cooling mat. The size is a nice feature, as it is large enough for our golden retriever and Bernedoodle to share. I am fairly disappointed in the quality of the material. I most certainly was not expecting anything super fancy. I just wanted something we could throw out on the patio or on the ground at the campground when hot outside. The durability really is sub par. I was expecting a thicker material on top and backing that was maybe a little waterproof. Within literally the first 30 seconds my doodle had snagged the thread with her nail just by walking on it. The total mat thickness isnât as thick as a hoodie. The back layer is a mesh type material. The pro to the thin material is I imagine it will be easy to throw in the wash. I think I wouldâve been more satisfied with the purchase if it had been around $20âŠ. Definitely not worth $40 in my opinion. Hopefully my dogs enjoy it for a while at least.

Thin, Iâm not sure if it kept my dog cool. She would always pull at it and never lay fully on it. Wouldnât recommend

I just got this cooling pad in the mail today, so as far as durability and easiness to clean, we will see, but I'm assuming that it will be great, just judging by the good quality of the pad. Honestly, I wasn't super convinced that this pad would do that great of a job, but I figured why not, and I ordered it because I need something for my elderly pug that has breathing issues. As soon as I ripped it out of the packaging and laid it on my couch, I had both pugs already flopped onto it. I felt it and it was so cool and comfortable! You don't have to freeze it or add water to it or anything, and it's so smooth and soft! My pugs haven't gotten off of it unless it was time to go outside or eat, and then they are right back on it, snoozing comfortably! I'm actually thinking about buying another one to put in my bed! Haha. Seriously.UPDATE: In July 2024 I will have had this cooling pad for 3 years and it is still going strong! No rips or tears and is still very cool on a hot day! It has also been in the washer and dryer multiple times and has no issues. Definitely recommend!
