Definitely a perfect fit for crate

I have actually purchased 2 of these dog beds because I thought I may have gotten an under-filled one the first time. However, the second one was just like the first so in terms of thickness and perceived comfort for your dogs, it is thin. While it does have padding, it’s not enough to justify using this as an “all the time” bed for my dogs. I understand it’s marketed as a kennel pad but it’s also labeled under dog bed so just beware on the fill of it. The overall quality of the bed is great! The material feels structured and the phur is soft and doesn’t shed. I did struggle quite a bit when I washed it the first time due to the padding inside getting pushed around and the fur ended up getting slightly matted. It took a bit to maneuver the padding back around and comb out the fur. It’s definitely a bit picky of an issue but if you can deal with the little annoyances and you/your dogs don’t mind a more thin bed, this is a great option for the price! Unfortunately, it just doesn’t work for me and my pups.

The bed alone was great. Our lab however destroyed it in days. Nothing wrong with the bed, just don't get it for your 1 year old lab.

I put the mat in the back seat of my truck, invited my dog in and he went right to it and laid down. We have gone on three “rides” so far and he laid or sat on it every time. It is cold outside now so that might help a little but I think it is great.

The size is great for our American bulldog where he can lay out completely and still be on it. I recommend unrolling the bed at least 12 hours before letting your doggo lay on it. The cover is easy to remove and put back on too.

My dog pooped in his crate-- not a great day for me. I threw his old bed out because I just couldn't deal, and then he went without a bed in there for a while. I stumbled across this and it's perfect. Not super luxurious, waterproof, and comfortable. My dog also loves how soft it is; I took it out of the package, and he laid right down on it.Dog approved :) 10/10
