Having an older dog, I decided to purchase this dog heating pad. It's big enough for my 70 lb Golden Retriever and 55 lb mixed breed to fit (and they get along well). They love it, but - unfortunately for the mixed breed dog - so do the 3 kittens we have. Even though I got a smaller one for the kittens, they seemed to prefer laying on the big one for the dogs. The Golden didn't mind, but the mixed breed did! He would not go near the kittens!! LOL! Oh, well - the heating pad still works great, no matter which animal lays down on it!

I really like the heating options and timers options. It provides a consistent heat and stays on. The cat really loves it. I have to put it between a mat and a blanket because it does not have a soft cover as shown. Functionally, it's great, just does need a soft cover.

I bought this as a replacement for the original heater pad insert in my cat's bed that my husband and I have nicknamed the "hot tub time machine" because she is so obsessed she travels through time and space every time she is in it (which to soothe her sweet little senior cat body...is very frequently!). She knew not that we had replaced the heater, as this one worked just as perfect!! The liner is even extra cushy and the temperature control settings are very easy to adjust :)Highly recommend if you want to bring your feline child some extra peace, warmth, and comfort to their favorite lounging spot!

So I bought this to retro fit to the little enclosed part on her cat tree. See pictures. My cat (named El Gato) figured it out instantly and loves this thing. I can't get her out of there now. She also has a cat bed that's heated but I think she likes this better because it's enclosed. I bought the one without the huge digital timer, so I could fit the cord through the back without making a big hole. It worked well. Puts out decent amount of heat and obviously it's enough for her. The digital stuff on the cord is just extra hassle. The size of the pad was perfect for this application. The cover is soft and the pads heats very evenly.If you haven't gotten your cat a heated bed, your cat is missing out big time. They love these and they don't cost much. Also, picture is the cord without temp and timer unit.I highly recommend. You will have a happier cat.

This heats up nicely and warmly. My cat sat on it right away. We put this in her outdoor cat house. I really love the quality of the heating pad and cover is cozy quality fabric. Plus a 24 hour timer is amazing compared to a 12 hour timer. She is hesitant about new things introduced into her environment. This heating pad was not a problem she took right too it. Highly Recommend it for your cat.

These work amazing. I love the fact that they have a setting to stay on. They also have the option to automatically shut off. The temperature is easy to adjust. My pups have not torn them up. I use them the first 2-3 weeks after they’re born and it has helped tremendously. I’ve washed the covers and they wash well. I have one female that has pulled the fibers out of the cover by scratching but it didn’t damage the pad. I love these. I’ve used them for a good 6 weeks solid use time and they have held up well.

After reading the reviews on this, I decided to purchase. Much to my disappointment, while easy to put together, it is flimsy and the heating mat does not fit being too big and prohibiting the entrance/exit doors. Because it doesn't sit flat, it's not safe to have the heating pad crunched up, so I will not use it and will seek to buy a more appropriate one. Besides that, there is no hole to put the cord through, so you have to put it through one of the doors, which shouldn't be, and leaves more space for the cold to get in. Great idea, just executed poorly. Bottom line, by the time I get this perfectly together and safe, it will cost way more than better made ones. I would have passed if the reviews were more honest and detailed. I will buy something else if I can't make this more secure.
