Stiff, non-cushiony, with a very hard and uncomfortable ridge. Does not provide any cushion for the ball of my foot in high heeled boots. Based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I thought these would be perfect. Mine are so uncomfortable that I'm wondering if I got a faulty set.

The pads were very comfortable, but lost stickiness in less than 24 hours. Pads were applied to sneaker insert. They are impossible to use if they do not stay in place.

I generally don't wear heals, but I had a formal event to go to this weekend and had open backed shoes with ankle straps. Tried another brand of "ball of foot" shoe cushions that looked like gels. They did nothing to help make the shoes more comfortable. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I put these cushions in the shoes. Instead of just a flat surface, they were fitting to my toes and in all of the right areas. I wore the shoes for hours with no pain or problems. So glad I found these! One suggestion though. I decided to NOT wear nylons with these shoes. With Nylons, the feet slip around and could cause problems. Without nylons, you have more traction for the feet to stay in place, along with the foot moldings on these pads. I would recommend these foot cushions to anyone wearing heels. They make it a more bearable and pleasant experience. At least they did for me.

My foot objected the toe ridge when placed in sandals. The thickness was perfect and did provide the pressure relief. Ordered another product without the ridge.
