Hard to tell the time as the second hand and the alarm hand are gold too. They should be painted so they are distinguishable from the minute hand and the hour hand. Also, the light is not a help in the dark. It is not in the right place for ease of reading time otherwise, love the color and shape of this clock

This is a small clock, don’t be deceived by the images in the listing. But it’s a nice clock, it has a clean and classy look. I don’t know how the alarm functions, I don’t intend to use it for that, I’m just using it as a time piece on a shelf. The price was great for the quality of the item. I’m happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

It's a nice clock for the price and super cute! The only real issue I have is that it's hard to set the alarm time. You're supposed to turn the hand to the hour you want, but there's no way to set minutes if you want to wake up at half past or something, or at least the instructions don't tell you how. I'm assuming you have to turn the hand a bit past the hour because I find that if it's not exactly on then it goes off a few minutes past, but there are no minute lines so it's hard to see exactly where it's landing. Also the light is basically useless which doesn't bother me but if that's important to you then maybe look for a different product.

Looks good. And it's totally quiet! I needed that- and the one I bought before said it was, but wasnt. Cute little size. Perfect for where I needed it. The hour colors being gold do shine a little and having the front be a clear globe, so I bent the stand to point it down some, to reflect less, and help with readability, but that's the only thing that effects it.

Not enough contrast to be able to see beyond 10 to 12 inches. It fits a mid century modern decor, keeps accurate time and is silent.I placed it on a small end table in my living room. It functions best in this location.

Cute, stylish mid-century clock. Makes no ticking sound. Its navy blue face lights up so its easy to read the time in the dark. The time and alarm are set by whole numbers only. Seems to be sturdy and well made. Takes only one AA battery. Gold base and numerals. Keeping accurate time. Love it.
