Super loud and looks nice. The knobs to adjust the time and alarm are a little fragile feeling. The clock is also lighter than I thought it would be. Looks very good and has no snooze. So no sleeping in. Very loud. The alarm only adjusts in 12 minute increments after the main hour. So it would be 9:12, you wouldn't be able to put 9:15. Wish the numbers were a little bigger. Runs on one aa battery. Time is on point. But the alarm seems to always ring 4 minutes earlier than set. Not a big deal for me. The back light is a soft yellowish light. Very good for nighttime, unlike a bright white LED. Price is really good. Looks very nice with the chrome finish and blue face. Would buy again.

If you are a deep sleeper, this clock will wake you up! Clock comes exactly as pictured. Classic, LOUD, old school bell ring that will not stop for an hour unless you turn the clock off (small switch on the back of the clock to turn alarm on/off). Once you turn that alarm off, the alarm will not activate again (so don’t fall back asleep!) You also must remember to turn the alarm back on every night. Alarm times are NOT exact (they’re in 7 minute increments on an analog clock so you have to guess as best as you can to get to the time closest to what you’re looking for). Light feature does not stay on automatically (there’s a button on the back of the clock you have to hold down for the light to turn on).

I’ve had this clock for about 3 years now and it never fails me! You can always tell if the battery is getting low by a very mild alarm, just switch it out as soon as you hear the alarm sound get quieter.Maybe changed it twice in 3 years.There’s a lot of value to simple old style things. This clock gets me up In the morning when nothing else will.Perfect function, good battery life, super super loud ring

This clock is loud, great for heavy sleepers! It is really easy to read and set both the alarm and the time. There is a handy button on the back to light the face so you can see it in the dark and the light is soft. The only downside is that it's really easy to bump the knobs on the back and accidentally change the time or the time of your alarm when handling it. Overall though nice little clock

Husband used wind-up alarm clock for years (we live in an area where the power goes out a lot), but found he needed something with a louder alarm and easier to use. I went looking for a loud, battery operated clock and came up with this one on Amazon. This is fourth clock he has had; the alarm only lasts so long. However, the clock still works, so they are scattered other places in the house and are still used. He likes the battery function. I am glad that the alarm works well, works until he turns it off. I am glad that he is not complaining about the clock anymore. If you need a reliable, LOUD alarm clock, this is the one. And it comes in a variety of colors, clock faces. He opts for the same one every time!

Bought as gift for someone who sleeps through alarm, after abnoxious alarm, for hours. Successfully woke on first go, as well as confusing people outside. Pretty and has no snooze or excess functions (which was actually a goal in this case so he had to get out of bed and switch it off instead of accidentally turning things off/snoozing and returning to sleep). Finally can stop missing critical things :)
