I am using these for riding to work in the hot Tucson summer. I wear them as overpants, over my shorts (or pants). I arrive at work and I unzip them and remove them without taking off my work boots. They flow lots of air. Sizing is a bit large, as I normally wear L, 34 waist, 30-32 inseam clothes. I bought the Large and they just fit over my shorts/pants and are still comfortable. They also stretch! The side zipper is nice too, as I have separate winter overpants by Bilt that only use velcro down the side and they are kind of a pain. Overall these pants are a great value by me.

I use these mesh pants when riding my motorcycle. They are heavy and have ok pads for protection. The air flows through them as well as moisture if it's raining. I've worn them in 90 F weather and they did ok. You will still sweat, just not as much as if wearing a solid pair of padded riding pants. If they become wet they dry fairly quickly. I've worn them almost a dozen times and they still look new. I wear 40w 30i trousers. and they fit with room to spare. There is a cinch belt on each side for making the waist tighter. The legs run longer than I thought by almost two inches. There is a cinch strap at the bottom of the pant leg, but the knee pads hang a little too low. Nothing that a little elastic strap and velcro can't fix. The pants zip to the bottom of the leg and almost to the crotch area. Only One zipper per leg. Too bad because it would be nice to open the zipper and allow a little more airflow to the upper leg. Each of the two pockets will hold a wallet and a small 3-in long flashlight and some keys. For $70 they are a good pair of warm-weather riding pants

I bought these as I wanted a set for commuting to and from work (trying to get that ATGATT) and the major complaint from me was lack of full zipper on most pants.these pants have the full zipper making them easier to get on and off.I can feel air passing through (positive) and the reflective piping is good for night. could use a little more as the piping is small. maybe even a larger reflective strip on the front of the leg at the knee level.they are inexpensive with knee and hip protectionmy only two issues are:the zipper/flap being on the inside. unfortunately when I put my foot down on the left side the velcro flap catches the heel shifter and pulls open. I wish there was a snap or zipper to the bottom and longer flap to reach around the ankle to prevent this from happeningthe mesh material on the inside makes sticking boots through a slight hassle. you have to maneuver and wiggle to get past to get to the opening.overall they work well and get use. if the zipper could be switched to the outside that would alleviate the two issues (I have a pair of cold weather that have full length outside zippers and getting boots through are easy, plus no issues with shifter)

These pants are comfortable and the full leg zip makes them great for slipping on over your pants and shoes. I can put them on and take them off almost as fast as a jacket. Very convenient protective gear. Great value for the price... Just try to get the size right so you won't spend time and money returning it. Standard shipping is pretty slow if you don't live near Massachusetts. It took amcouple of weeks to receive mine. The material feels great and seems to be of high quality. They look good. Ok, motorcycle pants are never exactly fashionable. The waist is higher than with normal street pants. It looks a little dorky but the hip-pad coverage is excellent. I cannot speak to the abrasion resistance or durablilty in a crash, but they are for sure better than nothing, and they are so easy to put on that I am more likely to wear them than some other riding pants. These are the most convenient I've experienced so far! The pockets are nice and there is fairly decent airflow. Paired up with a mesh jacket, this is about as good as you're going to get wearing protective gear in the heat. Now, the thing everyone worries about when ordering online...sizing. I am 6' tall, 165 lbs, and I typically wear size 32 pants. I got the medium. The medium-long would have been better. These pants are just too short. Unfortunately I rode around with them on a few days, so I cannot return them. They look and feel fine when walking around but when I get on my bike, they ride up too high and most importantly, the knee-pads sit too high on my leg, exposing several inches of calf and shin above my boots, even with the knee pad set to the lowest position with the velcro fasteners. It really is too bad. I will get a proper medium-long and try to sell this pair used.To summarize: excellent value, great look and feel. If you are a medium (31-34) and any taller than 5' 10" I suggest the longer inseam.
