Overall I am happy with my purchase (so far). I usually have issues with sizing when ordering clothes on-line, but these fit me OK. I ordered size XXL. I am 5'7" 200 lb. with a 31" inseam. They are a tighter fit than I'm accustom to, but understand that is necessary for maintaining proper armor positioning. That said; my biggest complaint is that the positioning of the knee armor is too low (for me). The top of the armor is below my knee cap, which will require modification to the knee armor pocket for proper positioning. Fortunately my wife sews. The armor is NOT factory installed, so you have to install it. No instructions are included, so I had to research YouTube videos for proper installation of the hip pads. Simple installation diagrams should be added (Attention Seller)! Material is 97% cotton, 3% spandex which means they will shrink if washed in hot water, and tumble dried with heat. They have adequate stretch, and are comfortable. I like the understated styling (you can tell they are riding jeans, without screaming "boy racer poser"). The armor inserts are CE level 2 rated, so they should provide moderate impact protection in a low speed fall. They are NOT Aramid (Kevlar@) fiber infused, so don't expect abrasion resistance (road rash protection) to be any better than equivalent weight denim jeans. They are what they are; an economy pair of riding jeans. But way safer than riding in shorts!

I like the jeans, they fit well and look good. I will say that the protection pads are hard & cheap. I rode with them for a couple of rides and they hurt my knees. I found some other softer ones and they worked very well!! For the money these are a very good purchase!

I'm 5'10" 190 lbs. I normally wear a 36 waist in everything (shorts, jeans, etc). Bought the XXL since manufacturer displayed that size is a 36 waist. Well, it's more like a 38. I will keep the pants for winter riding with thermal under garments. I did order the L in hopes they fit better. If not, I will be returning them. As for the pants. They are well made with excellent stitching. The material is soft, the armor is very good.
