I bought this for travel. I normally use my Bodum 8 cup pour over for my morning coffee. But as sturdy as it is for glass, I didn't want the bulk or weight of a larger pouriver contraption since I'm the only coffee drinker in my household. I also didn't want a ceramic one with a handle (that always gets broke). I've also always used the Melitta filters so I have confidence in this brand.Used it this morning to make sure. Performed as expected.1. Sturdy and lightweight.2.No handle to break off3.)Fits a mug properly without awkwardness4.) It's not a solid piece on the "base" part like the ceramic ones. For me this allows me to SEE into my cup. I normally just put the exact amount of water in my kettle. But I have different mug sizes.*********If you are concerned about microplastics. 😱Get over yourself. Obviously this product isn't for you. You could find a unicorn to bless it under the 4th full moon of a new year. The internet said that will reverse all effects of a lifelong microplastics. 🤪

The most affordable, and in my opinion, the best, pour over on Amazon. There's nothing magical or hip about it, but it has the classic look and durability I needed, and I'm confident it will be the last pour over I'll ever need to buy. I'm sure this will outlast me and maybe 1-2 more generations. Easy to clean, nice black finish.

My last one lasted 10 years and I expect this one will too. I like my coffee hot and this way of brewing coffee is the ticket for that. Brew your coffee straight into your cup and off you go.
