Tool works great it is off by a few hairs but with minimal tweaks is able to be used properly for the price is a great option to the higher priced tools.

This kept popping off, and would not hold in place. It did help me to line the sprocket up because I didn’t have that size Allen bolt but it didn’t hold them in place.

Very simple design but effective. Chose this tool be clause of the price. Hex fit perfect in cam gears. Once placed just had to tighten the bolts and kept cams in place.

I've used this tool at home on my 08 Forester while charging out my timing kit system and it made my job very easy.

Fits my 2006 sti and works good, glad I didn’t buy the $50 option for what may be a one time use.

perhaps there was a bad batch in the past. lots of reviews say they have issues with fitment. I experienced no issues on 2008 Subaru Outback XT great tool!!!Only complaint is that there is a sharp burr on the stamping. See picture. But quick fix with a file.

I would refrain from purchasing this tool. The metal connection between the two Hex's that lock into the cams is too small. The hex is slightly too small and will pop out of the cams making the tool very finicky. You will find better success just trying to keep the loaded cam still than use this tool. I could be great just sufferes from a manufacturing flaw

I ordered this part to work on my son's car. It was intended to keep the pulleys for the timing belt locked in place so the alignment would be right while putting the new belt on. First the fit was very loose and then once tightened, the alignment marks still slipped.

Purchased this tool to do the timing of my 2017 wrx sti. The tool popped out from the Alan bolts fell on the ground and the Alan bolt portion snapped off. It’s made from really cheap metal and the Alan bolt is completely hollow inside . Luckily I have a mig welder or I never would have got the job done
