This scale is great! Sub six dollars and it does exactly what it's built to do. Pounds, ounces, grams, kilograms it checks all the boxes. My use is to weigh backpacks for cross country adventure when every ounce counts. Highly recommend.

Even though this scale is sold as a fishing tool, I ordered it for weighing our suitcases before travelling. After having used several hand scales, than only last a few months, and eat the batteries in just a few uses; this one is a much better solution. It is heavy duty, the handle is extra wide can be used with regular AAA batteries or with its internal rechargeable battery. Don't be discouraged by its low price, it is a great scale (not sure why it's priced so low lol)

This can either be used with AAA batteries or a usb c cable. It comes with batteries you can use. I will say the battery indicator doesn't seem accurate. The display is easy to read as long as youre looking at it straight on. It cant be seen from an angle. I didn't expect it to work well though. It looks cheap and feels cheap. I did find it to be very accurate at weighing our fish. It can measure up to 110lbs! Although most of ours are below 10lbs or no more than 20 so I doubt we will need to go that high. Its not a bad scale for the price.

I picked this scale up to keep on my boat, I do a lot of coastal fishing in san diego. It's nice to have a scale out at the kelp beds and in the bays. This one works pretty well so far. Unfortunately I havnt had anything to test it's limit yet, but we all know winter fishing is tough. Hopefully as the weather and water warms up I'll be able to put this thing to the ultimate test on some nice halibut or yellowtail

I’ve had more than one instance where I need to measure luggage to ensure it’s under a weight limit for travel. If you’ve ever tried using a bathroom scale, believe you me, it’s not ideal!This scale is really pretty cool. I love that it can be powered via USB-C through an internal battery or AAA batteries. The AAA batteries included in the box do say they expire at the end of this year, so there’s not much use putting them in storage if you don't plan to use them.I do wish there were a label somewhere on the scale that tells you it measures “up to 110 lbs.” Otherwise, it’s easy to forget the limit.The smiley-face buttons are weird, but this works well in my testing. The handle is not uncomfortable to hold, but it is just plastic. My biggest issue is that while the large display is nice, it is difficult to read off-angle. And when you’re struggling to hold up a suitcase and you crane your neck at the same time to look at this, you might have trouble reading it. I also wish the battery icon showed a precise percentage. It would also be cool if the screen could show the last few measurements you recorded, if you've done several in a row. I do, however, like how easy it is to change the measurement unit.Having not used one of these in a long time, I expected more give from the hook on the bottom, but I’m glad it stays in place. Overall, I’m very happy with this.

This is a great scale. It is really accurate compared to my kitchen scale on various items I have tested.I appreciate that the scale can work in both battery mode or just via USB C cable. This is an awesome feature and makes it easy for something I might not use everyday. I have tons of USB plugs but batteries can sometimes be difficult to find at home.I have weighed items greater than 50lbs and it works just fine. My kids like that it has a smiley face on the buttons.Overall, I recommend this scale!

I'm reviewing MEIYA Dual Power Fish Scale, AAA Battery/Rechargeable, Extra Wide Handle, 110lb, Backlit LCD Display, Includes 2 AAA Batteries & USB-C Charging Cable, SilverThis fish scale looks cheap right out of the package with housing being a silver painted plastic, but not unexpected considering the price. The function buttons for the display are in the shape of a smiley face which feels a bit odd. That being said, it functions well. The backlit display is easy to read, and I find the readings to be accurate and consistent. I can weight the same 10+ pound object several times with a known weight and get that same reading each time.It can be charged with a USB A to USB C cord that's included, I needed to provide my own USB A charging block, but I think most of us have one to charge our electronics. It also has battery back up and the box included 2 AAA batteries for this purpose. It's nice to know if I'm out fishing, I have back-up and can also keep a couple extra AAA batteries in my tackle box (safely packed).This would make a nice gift to a young angler or someone just getting started.I find the current price of $7.98 to be reasonable.As a side note, this MEIYA Dual Power Fish Scale is made in China.

I'll be honest, when this arrived in a sort of nondescript brown cardboard packaging, it had all the hallmarks of something very cheap like something you'd get at the dollar store. The plastic housing on this scale is also pretty thin. So, I was very pleasantly surprised when I weighted my dining room chair, which I know is 13.5 lbs. and took 3 readings and the scale took the exact same reading three times in a row. I've reviewed probably half a dozen of these fish scales from Vine now, and most of these cheap ones are wildly inconsistent and outright junk, so I did not have high expectations for this scale. But the functionality of this scale is fully deserving of 5 stars for its price point. The scale is accurate, at least at lower weights, I didn't try really heavy stuff. It has a nice well lit display for night fishing. The readout locks once the final weight is tallied. And this one's a biggy: The chosen unit stays on the scale by default when you turn it on. I have so many scales where metric is the default and you have to switch it over to pounds and ounces every time you turn it on. This one stays in the mode you put it in. The plastic housing of this scale is not particularly heavy duty, but it suitable if it is kept in a protective place like a tackle box.
