The functionality and concept of this fish scale is great as the gripper is solid enough to grab and hold big stripers but the scale is all over the place. It can be as big as almost a 3 lb swing. After a season and a half using it I decided to test it weighing a 15lb dumbbell. I tried 4 attempts and it was 13.4 lbs, 16.2lb,15.4 lbs, and 16.2 lbs. I probably won’t be continuing to use this again and just get something more trustworthy like a bubba or rapala.

I like how you grip the fish's mouth , much easier than using a hook. Fits in my tackle box with ease and digital read out much more accurate than guessing at a dial.

This is my second Piscifun scale. My previous one became difficult to read now that it is sitting at the bottom of my local lake, and probably still holding on to the fish I was weighing (sorry fish). Please remember... Always wrap the wrist cord around your wrist. Duh 😱

Well made item which works perfectly as described. However the lanyard seems to be an afterthought in the design. An actual hole or clip to attach a lanyard would have been a better option.

Have been using a fish lip gripper like this one for three years. Lost it when releasing a 43 inch Musky as the fish thrashed. These devices make handling large fish much easier on the fish when removing lure hooks. I like this unit because it has a digital scale. I'm not sure how well the wrist band will work out since it doesn't have a dedicated anchoring lug, but time will tell.
