The product works perfectly well but the screw holes do not line up and are not the same threads on my microscope. Instead of returning it I just used some double sided tape and held it down. It works ok this way but it’s not near as stable as it would be if I were able to screw it down. I am only going to knock off 1 star for that because I don’t know how they can build this for every eventuality.

This came and not only did it have some sort of black grease all over (probably a return) but it doesn’t fit a double focus knob microscope. Where the piece comes back along the neck of the microscope if you turn the knobs it lifts off and shoots the slides across the room. Safety hazard.
