This tool is made of very good quality plastic. Never knew what these were called (Spudger) but if you need one they sure make the job so much easier. Like they say the right tool for the job. I recently used the tool for replacing some RAM on my computer and the tool made the upgrade so much easier than trying to use a regular screw driver and not break my rear cover. I can see where they would also be good for phones or any other electronics that use snap closures in addition to screws. they blades are wider than most screw drivers that could get into those small spaces, and also sturdy enough to do the job without putting to much pressure on the plastic covers that could crack or break if the blade is to small.

My electronics repair kit came with a plastic pry tool that wore out fairly quickly. Plastic tools are great in that they can open laptops and the like without risk of scratching them up too badly. The downside to plastic tools is that the tools themselves breakdown fairly quickly with use and have to be replaced periodically.These pry tools are excellent replacements. They're a good shape for prying. And they're strong enough to get the job done, but they aren't so strong that I worry about them scratching up my devices.I like the fact that this was a pack with multiple pieces. Hopefully these will last me for quite a while.
