Leaked and blew a hole in the plug. Luckily I had an unfinished basement and caught the leak early.

We used this to regulate the water pressure to our tiny home and it worked great. At a portion of the price of the other ones we had found.

This regulator works well. Since no instructions or tips, were provided, the following may be helpful to others: For the provided gauge, users could discard the small black piece of rubber provided on the base of the gauge, from what I could see, the black rubber seems to provide protective cushion for the gauge during shipment.. If not removed and installed anyway, the rubber piece will likely block the water channel going to the gauge and the gauge will not give a reading. After installing the gauge, the regulator should be adjusted so get the pressure up to 50 psi.. The regulator does not seem to come preadjusted. So as I have found, the regulator and gauge work fine if your know what to do to get it there.

First off we are on our own well and out put pressure has a range. So out put pressers to the garden also has a range. I set it at 20 psi when well pressure as at 45 psi. I needed it to not go above 20Psi to make sure the drip connections do not come apart when they get hot from the sun. I mean really hot . Hot enough to give a burn. It worked and maintains a 20 psi when no water is flowing through it. So drip lines never get above 20psi.If you cross thread the input side it will leak. The out put side needs an extra washer. I am happy with it. I have tried others and this one works the best. So go for it

I bought one of those expensive regulators a while back. $90 or so. Not sure if I got it on Amazon, or Home Depot. It lasted a good 7 years or so. I would have expected more from a chunk of over priced steel. This one costs a whole lot less. Directions were very simple. I can't speak on longevity, I just installed this 2 weeks ago. But this works very fine. I don't mind spending money where it's needed. But I can't see why most of these regulators are so expensive. Then the ones for RV's are a lot less expensive. Thumbs up from me.

Regulator works. The problem is the threads are sloppy. I have been working with pipe all life. I struggled for hours to make these regulators not leak. An excessive amount of Teflon tape and tightening to the point of cracking the regulator was the only thing that stopped the leaks. I would not purchase these again.

Just finished the install... PRV appears to work but the gauge does not move at any pressure. Gauge is DOA. The gauge is optional as there is a plug for the port the gauge screws in. Would be nice to know what the pressure is set at...
