It slipped off a few times while walking though the woods. Works ok when carrying by hand but when I put it on my should it didn't take a lot for an end to come off. I tried adjusting but it only helped a little. I used it several times and it's ok but could be much better. Wish I had bought a higher quality sling.

Bag Design:The bag is very well designed with excellent pockets, storage, and adjustments. The hip pack or shoulder straps give you options for a more comfortable fit. On paper, it's an excellent setup.Bag Construction:Sadly, the bag looks great until you examine how it is built, If you've ever bought a very cheap backpack that has the rubberized fabric, then you know what to expect here. The seams are taped with a single straight stitch. Where the straps connect, they are sewn into the seam with the same single stitching. If you aren't hard on your gear and want a cheap bag, this is a viable option. I've had similar bags tear after casual use. I would not trust it fully loaded. Check the seams and look for tearing and separation. It's sad because the pack is well-designed, just not a viable hunting pack.

I wanted something to take hunting that wasn't too bulky. I carry a crossbow through the woods, and wanted something i could pack in my gear and not interfere with my crossbow shoulder sling. This works great. I use it to store a few knives, calls, and an Ozonics unit in the main pouches. I strap a collapsible camp chair on the bottom straps and I clip a water bottle to one of the straps as well. I do want to note that right out of the gate, the stitching on the under strap of the main pouch tore a hole in the pouches materials when barely tightening the strap. Not a huge deal to me, but wanted to notate it. Overall not a bad purchase for the price.

This is a nice size fanny pack, not too big, not too small. I immediately cut off the shoulder straps --I don't think it weighs enough to justify the straps. I use it for hunting when I have a smaller amount of junk and don't want to carry a day pack. If you think you need more room (e.e. to carry game) just carry a stuffsack along and tie it to the fanny pack. Good value for the money.
