I bought this for one ring that was extremely too tight. I was very nervous about getting cut or not being able to get it off at all. To my delight, it cut right through quickly.

Due to my hand Osteoarthritis, my finger joint has swelled up alot over the years, leaving a small gap. There is an urgent need to remove my stainless steel ring asap. Hospital here couldnt help. Glad I got this ring cutter and thankfully it came with additional 2pcs of the cutter blades, use up all 3pcs. Stainless steel is one hard metal, took 3 hours to work through the thick ring till it cuts a deep line. We had to use a Filer tool (pic attached) to do the remaining part till a split at the ring edge and twist apart using 2 thick piler.Note: How to change the cutter blade. Use a thick piler to hold the cutter blade and turn the key in opposite direction.

Really wish I hadn't needed this but it did the trick! Cut right through my daughter's ring with no pain so functioned as advertised. The ring came right off. Super quick and easy to use. Good value.

Felt a little rickety and was harder than advertised to cut ring. But I was cutting Platinum so it might have been a little harder cut.

I wore a thin band class ring and had some unexpected knuckle swelling and was unable to get the ring off. I tried all of the hacks. The ring had room to spin and wasn’t impairing circulation. Please seek professional help if a ring is impairing circulation or function.I had time to safely attempt to remove the ring, to no avail. I was able to hold the cutter with the affected hand and with inky a few turns of the blade, able to remove the band. Also the ring (which is very special to me) was bot horribly damaged at all. It’s a clean cut and my beloved ring from my parents can easily be resized and repaird. This device is exactly what I have used previously in EMS and in the ER. it is safe, and very effective. Great tool to have! And it comes with spare blades. Great quality. 10/10!!

This thing is so easy to use! A ring was stuck in a relatives finger and we tried everything to get it off with no luck. Unfortunately it does obviously cut the metal but it cut through gold like butter and took about 10 seconds to free her finger.

This little tool really does work. It cut a thick wide band made of Titanium. It took a while to cut through it so we had to switch out turning the key. I would have preferred a bigger key. I think that may have made it easier to turn. After we cut through the ring, which took about 20 to 30 minutes, we had to use a small flat head screw driver to separate the ring enough to remove it, but we would not have been able to remove it at all without this tool. The tool comes with two replacement blades, but no instructions on how to change them out. I recommend this tool if you need to remove a too small ring.
