It seemed like it would be easy to use, however when we tried to use it, after a few turns the key stopped working the blade did not rotate any more when it contacted the metal. I looked for solutions to the problem but did not find anything. We had ordered it while ago, so we passed the return date. I was disappointed that it did not work and I had to order a different one.

I had jammed my finger and it swelled up pretty good, I was panicking because I couldn’t get my ring off for a couple days, I tried the floss trick and one of my friends said they had to have theirs cut off before, so I started to worry, I then found this and asked myself why go pay a dr to have it cut off when I can do it myself.. mine wasn’t an emergency I still had circulation BUT I still couldn’t get it off for a couple days this thing works well and I was so relieved to finally get my ring off, it was quick and easy took less than one minute. I recommend.

This literally fell apart while sitting in my jump kit; it was never used. And now never can be.

It's difficult to shout hooray for the effiency of this product because it was used to take off my wedding band. My husband died just under a year ago, 2 days before Good Friday, and I chose Good Friday to get my band off. It definitely takes 2 people & most likely will hurt but this item cut through an old thick thick solid gold ring. My ring was not thin. It was thick, it hasn't been off my finger in over 20 years, & I've gained a lot of weight since I last had it off. This tool did the job. I'm glad I chose this one. It was going to be difficult and I knew it and I feel this was the best tool for the job. Good luck with yours.
