I got this to remove a ring I had been wearing forever and had gotten bent and it worked great. I did have to have someone else help me hold it in place but it got the job done.

I'm sure some of the negative reviews are due to the fact that people are not paying attention or not checking YouTube how to use it. As long as it's fairly straight and if somebody helps you to hold the lever, then it's incredibly easy to use. I had swollen finger due to arthritis, and my wedding band as well as engagement ring were stuck. I've tried everything from dental floss to surgical gloves to remove it, but at the end I used this tool to remove it safely. I would definitely recommend people to check the YouTube video before writing a review or before doing anything to their ring.

I had to cut off my wedding ring because my fingers swelled up. It worked perfectly. It really is a two person job. The cutter works great but it would be awkward to use it one handed. Took well under a minute to cut through my band. Nice clean cut.It's a good thing to have in your medicine chest for an emergency.

Did not work on a tungsten ring. This is not heavy duty.. the blade wore off in seconds! Unfortunately, it was a waste of money...

Even though this product was super cheap compared to some, it did the job. My gold wedding ring was very stuck, and this little tool saved us an expensive ER trip. The jeweler said that it was one of the best cuts he had seen. It was very easy to use (2 people).
