I was afraid a standard drill would not have the power to cut these augers into the ground but I was wrong. On my Dewalt 20v drill these tear right into standard dirt instantly, and without twisting my wrist.

I'm so happy to have purchased this item! Planting bulbs turns into a breeze, even in hard clay soil! It's functionality is perfect, and expedites all planting tasks, simply by drilling a hole into the ground with these auger bit attachments.

The "MAZING Auger Drill Bit for Planting, 4Pcs Garden Ground Earth Spiral Drill Bits" are probably something all homeowners with yard need to have for planting. I have had them before and am buying this second set which gives more wider auger and keep a spare for the backyard.It makes digging a hole so much easier as long as you have a good drill, which is not part of this package. Your drill will get muddy, so I have dedicated a drill just for this purpose as my wife does not let me bring the muddy ones into the house for other works!Generally I start with the smaller ones as a pilot hole and then use the larger bit for the wider hole. If the soil is loose, you can use the wider augers. It make digging for planting, so much easier and faster.

Paired with a powerful battery electric drill, this quickly makes neat holes in difficult soil, perfect for daffodils. Wow! A 100x effort saver! If you have lots of bulbs to plant, get this. Good quality product.

As a result of dry weather it has been difficult to break up the soil for small plantings. Excellent tool for any gardener. Will be sure to make a lot of use of them when time to plant vegetables in the spring.
