Maybe we're just spoiled after sleeping on a gel mattress for a decade. This is nice and firm and the double pillowtop is the feature we purchased it for. Once asleep we get good sleep and awaken with no back aches. Beware that it bounces and after a month of use it's starting to click and squeak a bit. If I knew then what I know now I would have opted for something else. I was hoping this would be better than a bed in a box.... sadly, it is not.Revised 11/12/22: Down to 1 star. This is a $700 piece of junk and it's getting worse. This pillowtop isn't really a true pillowtop. Most pillowtops are nice and thick. This is more like a pleated top skin that's 1 inch thick at best. It started out fairly firm but in less than 6 months has already started to sag. I weigh 195 and my wife 150ish. For the money this mattress wasn't worth the price. Not even close.You live and learn.

Fir the price this mattress does the job. It’s in our guest room and mainly our two grandkids sleep in the bed.

The box spring came unsealed and I had to staple the fabric to stop it from hanging to the floor. The mattresses are very comfortable and it is definitely medium. Can lay in bed all night without pain in my back!

bought it for my home but did not like the material...so I will take it to my vacation home....It took a long time toget here and when it came the box was badly damaged....the plastic covering was torn...there were black markson the one side of mattress ....possibly from a fork lift that tore the box and plastic..but instead of trying to sendit all back I tried to clean off the black marks but they didn't come off..so will take it to spare bedroom in vacationhome....will not order another mattress online. was a waste of over $ 400.00....

So I ordered this mattress set on one of the Prime deal days, was a bit leary, but we needed a new set for our guest room and it was a good price. The delivery people set it up, took all packaging and our old set away, just as advertised. The mattress is pillowtop on both sides, seems pretty comfortable. HOWEVER, as Brian review's stated, the foundation is something that needs to be inspected closely. It is NOT a true foundation - no springs or coils - just a covered wooden frame with a felt covering, which was ripped. Since the mattress set is for the guestroom, I think it will be totally alright. However, if it was for our own bedroom, I probably would have thought twice before ordering just because of how sturdy the frame was with every-day use.

It's hard to tell how good (or bad) this mattress is because we just got it and it's going into a guest bedroom where it will be used infrequently. Our first guests will spend this weekend here and then we'll have some idea. However, after setting it up and laying down it seemed firm and quite comfortable. If you're thinking of ordering one go ahead, it's a good mattress for the price.

Worth it and btw if anyone ask the box spring is not split it is whole just a little info in case someone is wondering its one of those ones that look like a whole box spring but ends up coming as split

finally a mattress that i wake up rested like never before, and came to my bedroom with no hassle at all, for a great price! i was sceptical about making a mattress purchase online but after my experience with mattress solution. I am happy that i took the chance. no more aches and pains when i wake up in the morning. this matters is heaven supports my back but plush at the same time. at the first glance i was happy to see it looked nice & good qulaity after sleeping on it for few nights i already see i wasnt wrong!
