I mean, it's a piece of plastic. Or acrylic. You put paint on it. Then you paint with the paint that's on it. Then wash it occassionally. Or often. Your choice. Sums it up.

The platter is a verry good sized product to allow plenty of paint mixtures that are used when following Bob Ross's style of wet on wet painting.

I love all the Bob Ross products and own most of them. They are a great value for the money and are holding up well with frequent use. This palette is huge with plenty of room to mix colors and yet is well balanced and easy to hold!!!

I was afraid to make this purchase after reading all the reviews about the palette breaking in half. So, when it arrived, I took the cardboard that the palette was laying on and cut out a template. Using a few small pieces of Scotch tape, I fastened it to the palette and no problems.This is my first time painting, so one thing I did learn is to make sure the paint is mixed well on the palette. If not, it will slide across/off the palette. Following Bob Ross on DVD, I am glad that I ordered this large palette. I had used another smaller one prior to this and there was simply not enough room to mix the paints together.Overall, I think this palette is a bit expensive. If it was twice the thickness, it would be a 5-star value. ( Some reviewers suggested buying thick plexiglass. I disagree because, you need a special saw to cut thick plexiglass, you will have to find a way to sand the edges so they are smooth and plexiglass has become expensive over the past several months. It is cheaper just to buy this palette and make adjustments. It would even be cheaper to buy two of them and glue them together.)Cleaning up oil paints is a mess, but the palette does clean up easily.Happy Painting.

I was worried that the gripping would be uncomfortable as a lefty, however it is very comfortable. It is the perfect size to keep my paint colors separate while having plenty of room to blend and cut from. It was definitely a worthy purchase.

Super spacious and sturdy, love it! Also the handle is positioned in a perfect spot, so comfy! I haven't put paint on it yet, as I am waiting on some oil paints I ordered from Michaels to get it, so I'm not sure how it cleans off but so far I love the style of it. I feel like Bob Ross now. lol

Love this palette. It is large and can hold several colours at a time. What's more you can mix those colours and still have some spare place to mix some more...

Ottima tavolozza comoda nel lavorare e poi nel pulire .....buonissima consigliata per chi ama dipingerea olio o acrilico.Aggiungo tutto il materiale Bob Ross e di qualita buona viene dipinti stupendi.
