I love this product. The value of the paper is excellent for seeing and mixing colors. Much better than white palette. The quality of the paper is excellent and the pallet is a good size. It has enough space for mixing colors.

These papers work very nicely for small projects. I've used it to mix colors and it has a smooth surface and doesn't bleed through. The thickness is enough to be able to move it when it has some paint on it and not make a mess.

I was using a glass palette with grey background for oil painting but clean-up was a major time suck. If I wanted to paint for a short amount of time, I still had to clean palette afterwards along with the brushes. Sometimes I just didn't have enough time so I would let the oil paint dry on the glass. Then it was even more of a project to clean. With these I just use short pieces of masking tape to hold it place on the glass and paint. If I want to stop, I just leave it - clean the brushes and I'm done. Whenever I paint again I toss the old sheet and go. Holds up well to mixing, palette knife, and thinner.I've used about 3/4's of the tablet and I'll be ordering again.

Love working on this grey paper. Paint colors are true. Paper is smooth, thin and strong. I actually use it inside my wet pallette. I set up the wet pallette the way you are supposed to.... with the sponge and the paper film. And I just throw a sheet of grey matters on top. Works great for me. Sometimes I sprits with water.... very fine mist. I found the boxes on Amazon (BTSKY CLEAR PLASTIC STACKABLE BOXES WITH LIDS). They are the perfect size and shallow as well. I was hoping they would work out and they did famously. You don't have to stack them if you don't want to. Sponges and paper film are by Masterson. This set up is great for me. And I highly recommend the Grey Matters paper to throw on top. The paint doesn't get soggy and lasts for a while. When you are done with it... throw the grey paper away.....and just replace it.
