When looking at this product and its competitors, one of the reviews said something to the effect "don't cheap out" on this tool. Well, they were right. The gum rubber base was softer than others I have looked at in the store. It made grouting, which I hate doing, a little easier chore.Spend a couple of more dollars and make your life a little easier.PS. This tool was made in America!!

These grout floats are easily the best ones on the market the rubber bottom is pretty resilient and because the rubber flexes as you spread the grout leaving the tile surface pretty clean which means less changing your water.

when it comes to grout float, don't cheap out, even for the DIY! It makes your work way better and easier with a good qualify float. This one i got is way better than the $7 one that you see on amazon.

Float really pressed grout in place. Ideally, the float could be a bit stiffer, but usually floats are generally at either extreme. So, l complemented this float with a stiff version, to scrape the tile surface clean.

These are the no 1 standard in grout floats. The rubber float doesn't become rounded and stays a nice sharp edge which is perfect for taking off most of the grout. Allows for less sponging. This larger size suits floors better, the smaller float suits walls.

Been a Marshalltown fan as long as I can remember. They strike a perfect balance of feel and effort.Without question they leave less grout to wash than any other float out there.I've tried them all. I found one that was as good in the squeegee aspect, but the handle was at an extremely awkward angle. Very uncomfortable to use, so back to Marshalltown and there's no issues.

If you are a tile setter these are about the best grout floats I have found out there. I like the softer gum floats and this is just like I like em. The soft ones don't last as long as the harder rubber floats but they make my job easier by cleaning most of the grout off the tile so when washing up after spreading there isn't much left on the surface of the tile to clean up.
