Especially if you a grouting beveled tiles.Sure, pros can do the same with regular trowels, but that comes withyears of experience, we diy'ers don't have years to wait for that bath or kitchen backsplash project.What will this trowel get you: - targeted application of grout (only to the grout lines instead of smearing the whole then deal will the hassle of cleaning the whole tile)- nearly zero waste (I grouted 100sqft of beveled subway tiles with no more than a 1.5 cups for wasted grout. I used premixed urethane grout)- you get the above with control only achievable with a narrow applicator with a pointed tip)- cleans easy (washed easy to new condition after an all day, 11hr use, in the kitchen sink using a non scratch scrub)

I just recently did a 3 x 6 beveled tile backsplash with a 1/16" space between them. Without having this pointed grout float the job would have been a real headache. I highly recommend it.

Grouting is not my favorite task mostly because my tesserae is not flat or all the same size or height. I saw this used on YouTube and thought I'd try it. It actually made it easier to get the grout into all the little spaces that I used to use my fingers for. This is easy to handle, not overly large or heavy and the rubber base doesn't scratch or splinter tesserae edges. I am very pleased.

This is a really nice float. It’s nice and light, and works great for working in tight spaces. I used it for my kitchen backsplash.

I got this Friday afternoon and finished grouting 2 walls of beveled tiles by Saturday afternoon. It was so easy! The pointed end made easy work of applying the grout into the joints without having to smear the grout over the entire tile. It was also easy to clean the extra grout off the beveled edges with this tool. I'm so happy I ordered it instead of trying to use the normal flat tool. I'm a 68 year old woman and have tiled 3 bathrooms and 3 kitchen floors and 3 backsplashes (our home and rental properties) and would recommend this tool for any beveled tiles. Good luck.

Great float for tight spots like shower niches, corners and beveled tiles. Have used it for 5 jobs so far, and with proper cleaning it still looks brand new.
