I was skeptical about the quality of this but I decided to try it and it installed easily and appear to be high quality and had no issues after programming it into the car. Please note that you do have to know what you're doing to install these things. You don't just install it and hope it works. You need a tool to program it into your car. In fact this work better than the more expensive unit that I have purchased previously and I like it so much more. The other one doesn't actually activate until the tire starts rotating so the light on my car stays on for a while until it runs for a little bit while but this one works immediately. I have no idea how long the battery on this one will last but if it can last for at least 5 years I would be very happy for the price I paid. It is so much less expensive than the other brands that I won't mention here.

Bought and took these to Discount tire to replace my old ones on my 2007 Prius. Spoke to mechanic to make sure they work before he fits them on to the new tires, it took him just about 5 mins to scan them with his code reader and confirmed that they work. He then went on to install them and was able to clear the TPMS sensor light on my dashboard. It has been a week since the replacement and they have been working without any issue.

All sensors checked out with my Autel TS501.Batteries are Maxell CR2450HR (Made in Japan) so I'm hopeful they will last for a while.

Had these installed at Walmart. The shop was completely incompetent and crushed 2 of the seals and one was split due to the improper installation. They gave me my car back and said they installed them but could not program them. When I asked which one would not program they just stared at me, then the brightest of the 3 stooges told me I would have to take it to the lexus dealer to have it done.10 miles later my wheel started to pull hard to the left and there was a wicked vibration, then the front left wheel blew out ( the tires were installed 1 week prior and the sensor error appeared 1 day after installation.I went to a non getto walmart and they showed me the torn seals and claimed they were installed incorrectly. Once they were balanced they programed them to the car in less than 15 minutes.I originally filled a return for these sensors and was furious with my self for not being mindful of the reviews. The fact is that all 4 sensors worked the way they were supposed to and it was the malicious incompetence of 3 people attempting to do job that they were clearly not capable of performing.

I liked that the sensors seemed like they were quality made, the valve stems seemed solid and the mechanic was able to mount/install them on my tires for around $100 labor. I don't like that after just over 2 months of being installed, the TPMS light is on again, and the mechanic showed me with his sensor that one of the 4 is no longer working. I guess I'll just by another set of 4 but only replace one at a time to save on the installation costs and keep 3 for spares and keep my fingers crossed.EDIT - after posting this review, I was contacted by the seller who offered to refund/replace the bad sensor, so I'll revise to 4 stars. The labor to have the sensor installed is more of a cost concern than the devices themselves. They do seem like a quality product (good sturdy metal valvestems, appears well assembled), so maybe I just got unlucky.
