For context, this is my first acoustic drum set. I had an electronic drum set (an alesis nitro mesh) before this and that one was my first kit.For first impressions to acoustic kits, this kit is phenomenal. Tuning has been easy, the build quality is great, and I can’t complain about the sound of the drums either. The heads on them sound awesome. The cymbals are a bit cheap and can’t really take too much of a beating, so be careful with those, but they sound moderately good for the price.The only complaint I can give is that the included throne gets uncomfortable after hours of playing. Solution: buy a higher quality seat or sit on a pillow.All in all, this is an excellent kit for the price; you won’t be disappointed.
