So.....haven't played drums in years but wanted my daughter to have a set. I can see why some people would be frustrated with the lack on instructions. I had to refer to the video several times as it has been a long time. There are times in the video that seems rushed and you miss some details. For the most part, it wasn't too bad. Also, there was several places where you lock in the screws that were not in place correctly and could not be locked. It doesn't take away from the sound now but after hitting it over the next few months could be a problem.Worth the price though. My kid is happy and when she's not looking, I will be beating the hell out of those drums.

I love the color of this drum set! However it comes in a lot of pieces with no instructions anywhere. It is too heavy for me to return on my own so it is still sitting in the box waiting for assembly instructions.

Box it comes in is pretty heavy. (Poor fed-ex lady) I kept my inside parts kinda organized. No instructions so I went to youtube and found alexmohandas 345 How to assemble a 5-piece Drum set. It wasn't perfect but decent. The end was the hardest I came to two stands(figured out the rest, got the throne stool figured) the shortest was for the snare and the larger was for the single snare. The seat had a part with holes. I also used a pic on ebay.

Great beginner drum set! Built solid. Very affordable and sounds really good! It looks pretty sweet too!

I pretty much buy these drums for the shells. As with any "complete" drum set in this price range, the cymbals sound like pizza pans, and the drum heads too. So I replace them with low volume cymbals, Remo heads, and replace the hi-hat stand, cymbal stand, and bass drum pedal with Griffin hardware. Overall, these are low-cost, entry-level drums, so don't expect perfection! But with some work and a few upgrades, they make a great workhorse practice kit that really gets the job done!

This drum set it great for a beginner. I purchased this for my 12 year old son. It was easy to assemble and the sound is great. The boxes during shipping were damaged so I was worried about the drums being damaged, but only the seat was. I contacted the seller and they quickly responded and fixed the issue! The drum sticks themselves are not very sturdy. They are made of a soft wood. One has already cracked but we did purchase a pack of sticks that seem to be a bit sturdier than the ones that come with this set. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this for my grandson who has been playing for a year now. The bass drum came damaged upon arrival (from the shipper). I contacted the seller and their Customer service representative was quick to contact me and send a replacement. I watched a YouTube video on how to put the drum set together, it wasn't very hard. I also watched a video on how to tune the drums once I completed setting them up. My grandson likes them, he says they sound good, close to the ones he takes lessons on, so he's happy!

The drum set is great, especially for beginners, but building it was super difficult because the youtube video instructions hardly shows how to build it. It took my daughter 3 hours to figure it out. Overall it is a pretty good drum set.
