It’s ok for kids. Bought it for the compass for me. Doesn’t draw an even circle. Other components are fine.

All metric. Even the "ruler" has the same numbers on both edges, no inches. A kit with these items was a great idea and I purchased 3: all are going back. If Maped wants to sell products in the USA, advertise them honestly, or better yet, make them appropriate to sell in the USA.

We've reached the point in math where compasses and protractors are required. You should have seen his face when he said, "Is this for me?...You mean I get to keep it?"I'm the homeschool point so he thought it was for him to use but leave at "school". One of the first things they tell you in the homeschool curriculum we use is to give the student the time to "play", making geometric designs, coloring, shading etc....basically getting used to using the equipment by having fun. Well, with the neon color, I'm not having to force anything. He plays with it at home, does homework with it and religiously brings it to school to use on his assignments.Good job on making a product for a subject that most kids dislike into something that looks cool!!!

I'm taking Analytic Geometry over the summer. I was taken aback when I received an email from my professor listing all the things we would need to bring to class everyday. All I thought I needed was a book. But I lucked up on getting everything extra for $5. This is amazing. It also comes in a case, very helpful, so I don't leave anything behind. Thanks for the great deal!

I bought this for my middle school child. The school supply list included a protractor and compass. Rather than purchase each piece individually, I bought this kit. I am a little worried that the protractor is a bit smaller than what I would expect, but overall, this kit is fantastic. I hope these supplies work for my child and if not, we still have an interesting little kit for other projects.

I got this geometry set just for a compass to draw circles for my scrapbooking. The compass itself costed more than this set, so I thought why not order the whole box for a lesser price. And my god, it is really worth 3 bucks and more. The case is sturdy and locks well. The components stay in place. I've used only the compass and it is strong enough for drawing perfect circles. Its got an eraser and a sharpener too (sweet). I dint use the set squares or the protractor but they are good too. They are a little flexible, so they don't break when you bend a little. And its colorful. Really worth the money. Just buy it even if you don't need it. It would probably make a good item for kids party bag at a birthday party or something, since it cheap and of a good quality too.

I am an undergrad for Mechanical Engineering, and I needed a compass + straight edge for my theory of machines class. I figured that amazon would have something good and this one was cheap. I bought and used it today. You can use any pencil without any problems. There are a ton of rulers in this (triangles, protractor, etc.), but it all fits very nicely in the case. The eraser works pretty well too. The compass can open to make a 5+ inch radius circle. Overall this is perfect. Cheap and works well.
