I use this for map navigation and sighting. Its compactness, transparency and durability are just what I need. I also like the fact that the degree numbers go both counter clockwise and clockwise. I really rate it 4 1/2 stars. The only way I could make it better would be to have a small hole in the exact center. That would make it 5 stars.
