How to install linear motion actuators
- Connect the two wires of the linear actuator to a 12V battery
- Black wire to the positive terminal and red wire to negative terminal will make the actuator extend. To make it retract, just reverse the terminal connection
- To simplify the last step, you can prepare a reverse polarity relay or switch for the actuator. When you want the actuator to extend and retract, just press the switch
- The linear actuator will hold its position when the power is off. It will automatically stop when reaching the end

How to protect your stroke linear actuator
- Please use the 12V DC power adapter.
- Please do not exceed the rated load.
- All the stroke linear actuator have duty cycle, they are unable to work all the time without stop. The duty cycle of this actuator is 10%. it means that your actuator needs 18 minutes to rest for every 2 minute of work. If the actuator keeps working for long time, the motor is easily burnt out.
- Please be careful, the actuator not completely waterproof.

Anteriormente comenté que este producto dejó de funcionar. Sin emabargo después de hablar con un agente de amazon y sabiendo que este producto ya no se puede devolver, chequé toda la instalación y me percaté que uno de los cables de este producto se desconectó y esa fue la razón del problema. Corregí este desperfecto y el actuador sigue funcionando muy bien. Por esta razón pido una disculpa por mi comentario erróneo. Agradezco la amabilidad del personal de amazon por ayudarme a resolver este problema.

Worked well but are extremely loud. Ordered 2 and 1 of them is much louder than the other.

I was sure it was in the description that it was quiet during operation, but definitely not quiet. That’s my only complaint, otherwise it works well for my needs. Hoping the longevity is decent, may update review over time once I’ve used it for a while. I have it lifting a decent load so it’s strength and longevity will be tested!

Worked fine for a few months but didn't last. All it had to do is open a less than 2 lbs vertical sliding chicken coop door in the morning and close it at night. The last linear actuator lasted more than 4 years. I'll have to try another brand.

El actuador llegó rápido y en buen estado. Me sorprendió la calidad de construcción, ya que es muy buena, se siente que es un buen producto. No lo he podido probar porque no tengo la fuente de 12v pero no dudo que va a funcionar perfectamente.
