Nice quality, super easy to use. Perfect for a camper, RV, a weekend cabin or the hunting or fishing camp.A few pulls will chop onion, tomato, cilantro, pepper, carrots, celery and more. The more you pull, the finer the chop. I do find that I need to occasionally open it and rearrange contents to ensure consistency, but that's true of any processor. I am glad I got it. It's small and useful. Especially when I think about cooking Thanksgiving dinner in a cabin and don't want to haul electric appliances.

Honestly, two pulls and the veggies are chopped! Carrots are a little harder so don’t put too many in the chopper. I purchased it because I broke my wrist and needed something to do the chopping. Inexpensive too!

I wanted to get a chopping gadget like we had when I was a kid - essentially a blade with a handle that you pushed up and down with the palm of your hand. I found these on Amazon, and there with the chopper line-up was this pull string device. The reviews are mixed, but I bought it anyway. My opinion: it’s sturdy, it’s really easy to use, it’s cute, and with only a few pulls of the cord you have a bunch of chopped vegetables. I probably won’t try to chop carrots or turnips with it, but it works great on onions, peppers, garlic, celery and tomatoes. I haven’t had it fall apart while using it and I haven’t had any problem with it moving around (I hold it.) It’s small, can be tucked away anywhere and is a grab and go gadget (unlike pulling out a food processor)

I really love the choppers that have the pulls. They do the best job and are the easiest to use. My husband has arthritis, and this is the least difficult for him. These are so much easier than the push down ones and do a much better job (and easier to clean) This particular chopper works great. It's easy to use and easy to clean. I would say the only downside to this one is that the top is square and doesn't snap on or twist on like the round ones. I should have thought about that before buying - because the lid isn't as sturdy as the round ones where you twist them on.

I've been looking for the ideal chopper for years--but haven't been able to find one that can chop really fine without making a mush out of it. Electric choppers are just too fast and powerful.This gadget has given exactly the right result with every single thing I've thrown into it (and it was so amusing that I ended up chopping everything I could come to think of...) and it manages to chop cabbage very finely (something that is usually massacred in electric choppers) for Baozi, without crushing it into a cabbage purée. The manual operation gives much better control for stopping at exactly the right moment.I HATE chopping by hand--even if I'm relatively effective--so I seldom have the patience to cook dishes that demand large quantities of finely chopped vegetables. Now I feel motivated again.Only downside is the small size of the container, though that's probably one of the things that allow for precise control of the process.I love this thing!
