This is the best food chopper. When I need to chop a lot of garlic, I will pull this out and it chops quickly. You can't go wrong with Cuisinart.

My mother had something similar to this in the 1950’s. This is without question the best, most useful kitchen tool I have ever bought! Mince garlic or onion or veggies perfectly and in a matter of seconds and put it in the dishwasher. Small, easy to store and easy to assemble and disassemble.

If possible, I would have given this NO stars. It would not chop green peppersor onions. Those are the two vegetables I wanted to use it for, so it is uselessThe blades just made indentations in the green pepper skin and if you chop tomuch it turns the pepper underneath the skin to mush. I tried this with twopieces of green pepper cut to size to fit the size of the chopper. Also used acutting board. The onion was even worse. I used a small onion and the chopperwould not cut through the top skin. I had already moved the tougher outer skin.I kept removing the outer skins and it still would not chop what was left. Thisproduct is a total waste of money, time and effort. Not only would I notrecommend it to a friend, I would not even recommend it to an enemy.

The worst invention for kitchen ever! Couldn’t really cut the onion esp the slightly tougher layer. Then tried cutting the tomato, same couldn’t cut off the tomato skin! I have to remove all and hand chopping all. Then it was a fiasco to clean it. Onion got stuck in and couldn’t get it out until washing it and left all over in my sink! Such a waste. Throw it to the bin straight away.

I bought this just over a year ago, and it truly is great at chopping things like onions, and we use it almost daily. However, the plastic components are quite fragile, and have now broken to the extent that the clear plastic cup no longer latches on to the metal upper body. We will try the OXO version instead this time.

Expected to be better made from this company. Plastic chopper guide interfers with chopping blade. Operates ok. Don't expect it to last long. Plastic food products don't last long made in China.

As stated, a great chopper. Had a Pampered Chef chopper before this one. It was able to disassembled for easy cleaning. This chopper is fine. I don't want to put this in the dishwater as they suggest, so cleaning takes a little more effort. Don't let that change your mind in purchasing this item. I am very pleased with how it chops.

Fairly useless chopper with a poor finish. The blades were too blunt to properly chops most veggies.

Very easy to operate and clean. Works great with walnuts, pecans and other nuts. My purpose for buying this item was basically for chopping nuts. Now we use it for almost all chopping procedures. Great Product.
