My 2012 Golf has been struggling with starting in the very cold morning. Engine shakes and rumbles for about 30 second generating gasoline smelling gray exhaust gas... Then I read a posting claiming that this can be from a bad fuel filter with water trapped inside which freezes. Well, after replacing it, those problems were gone. In stallation is straightforward. This is a fuel filter for 4.0 bar pressure without pressure regulator. There are versions with pressure regulators for 6.6 bar. Ensure to check your existing fuel filter and get the same kind.

I'm using this filter as a direct replacement for the costly 3.5 bar BMW filter on my F650gs, and it works very well, there is a size difference but all fits just buy some new hose clips. Fast delivery.

I originally bought this part to fit on my 2006 VW GTI 2.0T FSI to find out that it is not the correct part despite Amazon telling me that it was the correct part. Personally, I'd love to give Mann-Filter the 5 star on here because they are a great brand, but I have to take a star off for the wrong part problem.Amazon did return my part with no hassle however!
