Been using this brand filter for a while now. Much more affordable than the GM OEM, and even the aftermarket parts from the auto parts stores. They are of good quality, they seal effectively, and are a great value.

These are not a good filter.The o ring that seals the filter to the engine does not seat properly and leaks fuel.

Ordered the filter for my 2016 Dura max fit perfectly for the money will buy again ,no problems with gasket leaking like others said they are doing something wrong,highly recommended..

Use original base gasket. Had problems sealing with supplied gasket use original. Supplied gasket is square must be triangle (cross section) . Other than that fits fine and preforms fine for half the price.

People can argue filters all day and in the end, go with what works for you! I’ve tried just about every fuel filter there is in my 05 D-MAX and my 16 D-MAX and they are all about the same. However* I did try a Wix filter once and it made my truck throw codes. I still don’t get that ordeal? Basically what I’m saying is that I’ve tried the cheapest and the most expensive filters out there and I cannot tell the difference between any of them. I change my fuel filter every 5K miles no exceptions due to the quality of fuel these days-that’s just my personal choice.I decided to stick with the mid-grade priced fuel filter and I’ve yet to have any issues with this filter. Just be sure to lube your o-ring and gasket prior to installing the filter. Some people do and some don’t. It’s just a matter of preference I suppose. Amazon has a fuel filter wrench that is a must have! Simple tool and easy to use. Amazon also has a panel door for the passenger fender well to make it easier to remove and replace your fuel filter-buy it and thank me later! OEM filters are fine but you’re gonna pay for those. I’m sticking with this filter until either something goes south or a better option comes along OR when I install the FASS Lift Pump system in my truck. Then the filter will be by passed. Either way you want to go is up to you. Just don’t forget to change the filter bc filters and lube are a lot cheaper than parts and mechanics… Best of LuckT.H.

Unit fit my 2005 2500HD Duramax just fine. As noted by others, the o-ring slot in the housing is kinda narrow so it kinds just sits ontop loosly. I placed the o-ring in the gap then went around and pushed it down into the groove in various places so the o-ring would stick to the filter while installing. Used oil wrench to tighten it down. No issues.

I know everyone say use gm filter on a dmax but the cost is way to much . This filter side by side to a gm I see no difference an I get alot longer time before I have to replace filter compared to gm so for the price and the quality there good to go .
